Dutch women

Dutch women

Dutch women find Dutch guys dull, so as a foreigner you might stand a good chance to start dating one of these tall, independent women. But be aware that relations between men and women in The Netherlands are just as flat and equal as the landscape is. Read about what Dutch girls are like and what they look for in a man.

1. Dutch girls are very happy

Dutch girls are very happy if you ask them. Whether they are alone or in a relationship, Dutch women rate their own happiness in life with a 7,5. According to a book, Dutch women don’t get depressed.

2. Dutch girls think they are fat

Happy they are in general, not so satisfied they are with their body. Though only 45% of the Dutch women are (mildly) obese, 70% think they are too fat. 23% is so insecure, they’ll only have sex with the lights off. 43% is unsure about their good looks. In other countries, this is 64%.

3. Do Dutch girls like sex?

According to dating site Victoria Milan, Dutch girls like sex, but are not as sex-driven as the Scandinavian. The website published a Top Twenty Countries with Highest Sex Drives in Women, based on admissions from women who self-assessed their sex drive states. Swedish, Norwegian and Italian girls have a sex drive that is so high they could be considered to be nymphomaniacs.

Dutch girls reach place 17. “Dutch women are beautiful but serious, believing everything should be enjoyed in moderation – even wild sex”, so says the website.

4. Dutch women want a handyman

Are you handy but poor? No problem if you are dating a Dutch girl. Most Dutch women would rather have a man who is handy and fixes things around the house, than someone who has a lot of money. 88% of Dutch ladies think this is very important. Only 48% consider it a big deal if her man can’t cook.

5. The most beautiful women are from Amsterdam

Ask a man who has visited several countries where he would to return to and you can be sure he picks the places where he saw the most beautiful women.

A web survey made a list of the cities with the most beautiful women.

On number 10 we find Amsterdam, Holland. “Indeed, the dream of many men: seeing tall blond beautiful women riding bicycles and behaving friendly. No need for the Red Quarter.”

6. Dutch women cheat, but with morals

Half of the Dutch women have been in love with another man while in a relationship. 27% of Dutch women have cheated on their partner (in Italy this is 45%!).

Dutch women cheat, but with morals. It’s ‘not done’ to cheat with the partner of a friend nor to sleep with your partner’s best friend or brother. A colleague at work, parent of your kids’ friends or the neighbor seems to be less problematic.

7. Dutch women work parttime

A huge percentage (73%) of the women in The Netherlands work parttime. Only 23% of men in Holland work parttime. This percentage is 19% in the USA, 22% in France, 38% in Germany and 37% in Ireland (2009, OECD statistics). It means that in the Netherlands, most women are dependent of their men financially, but they don’t really care.

8. Dutch women are tall

Dutch women are tall. The average length of a Dutch woman is 170 cm. The average clothes size of Dutch women is 42 and they weigh 80 kilos. Around 50% of Dutch women have cup size D.

“Dutch women cheat, but with morals…”

Is this actually a noticeable thing, is it more common with Dutch women than other European countries?

Incredible how shapeless many of the women are. Tree trunk legs with no definition and the ones who keep “fit” splay their legs outwards whilst trying to jog. Always sporting dressed in orange though…representing…in their own land.
The same contrived nonchalance as most of the men, wanting to be “seen” doing things and making something out of nothing, like being oh so cool whilst sitting in lame bars facing tram stops.
A strong sense of schadenfreude, deeply unfriendly to foreign women, particularly if you are from a country they wish they were from and try to emulate in their attitude.
Loud, crass, acting entitled, completely overbearing and often with no manners. Most never bother to cover their mouths when they cough, sneeze or yawn. Many don’t bother with washing hands in venue and workplace bathrooms.
A complete lack of individuality in dress and appearance. The same long hair and basic look, tall until they reach their twenties when they grow outwards and cut their hair. Keeping on their cowboy boots and cheap looking clothes.

See, when I point these things out as a woman some foreigners think I’m jealous of the awful Dutch women. But Dutch women are awful and that’s not my fault! The number of people I’ve met who dislike them is waaaaay higher than the number who find them tolerable – and that includes other Dutch women and numberless Dutch men!

You’re absolutely right. As a woman I experience what you’re saying every single time I go to a Dutch bar: “deeply unfriendly to foreign women, particularly if you are from a country they wish they were from and try to emulate in their attitude.” Dutch women are extremely jealous of other women, to the point that they often become physically aggressive with me and my female friends.

I live in Netherlands since two and a half years.

I have always heard that Dutch women “make the first move”, approaching guys on their own and (for example), going in front of him telling “I like you”.

But, on my own, I have never seen this, so I believe it is a fake story.

Someone has different experiences?

In my opinion they are more forward then average. What does this mean? Not much.
Like all women they are mostly passive, but when that dream guy comes along she might go that extra mile to get noticed.
Guess what, you are probably not that dream guy they are looking for (as are 90% of all other men).

This of course could be (“you are not the dream man etc. etc…”), but why I have also never seen happening that to other guys (make the first move etc. etc. )?

And I have never heard of someone who has seen/experimented that… despite from what they say (Dutch women, I mean :-)). Until I won’t see with my eyes, I will consider that a urban legend :-)

p.s. in other words: when I will see s Dutch girl moving straight towards a unknown guy and telling him “I like you, I want you”, I will start to believe to these fancy stories :-)

Just came back. Had a fine lady hit on me while ripping through the peak traffic on a bike. She was fast!

Guess what? Dutch men find Dutch women also dull. To me they are a waste of time. They are loud, masculine and pretty unfeminine. Why would someone go through so much effort to date a Dutch girl?! When there are truly beautiful girls from other countries. Dutch women are good if you really need a two person income household, other than that they are a waste of time.

Just got back from amsterdam and can safely say the women were the most unfrindly i have ever encountered. Tall and fairly attractive yes but rude, arrogant and agressive in bucketloads! To much wacky backy smoking as well!
